Studio

HSC & Co. is a residential design studio built on a simple belief: a great home does more than look beautiful it creates a place where a family can live well, grow close, and stay connected to the land around them.

Rob grew up in Australia and studied architecture at Queensland University of Technology, spending a year as an international exchange student at Texas A&M University. Since then, his work has spanned residential design and real estate development across Alabama and California from custom single-family homes and rural properties to mixed-use, modular residential, and commercial projects.

His design perspective is shaped by the rural and agrarian architecture of Australia and New Zealand, where simple forms, honest materials, and a close relationship to the land produce homes that feel both timeless and distinctly rooted in place.

Today, the studio brings that same thoughtful approach to residential design throughout Middle Tennessee.

Outside the studio, Rob is usually outdoors with his wife, Edith, and their three children, skiing, fly fishing, or hunting.
